[ A video starts with a woman with long, white hair holding a child's hand. She doesn't seem to notice that this was recording for now, as she's busy holding that girl close to her with a serene voice. ]

Everything is going to be fine, I promise. We will find your mother together, so hold my hand firmly, okay? [ She gives the little kid a sweet smile. ] She must be worried too, so let's give it our best.

I'm Irisviel, but you can call me Iri. [ She had many questions about how she got here, but that kid was first now. There would be plenty of time for the rest. She glances around and notices the device on. The woman gestures to the cute ball next to her, which actually is a Spheal, to come closer as well. ] She's my friend too, she will help us too...

[ The feed ends when the little kid giggles a bit. Iri then will come closer to the device and grab it, give it a small smile and hold it again. ]

[ Halting all other thoughts, Saber's paralyzed with confusion as she stares at PokeGear held tightly in her hands. The sound of cracks can be heard just from the amount of pressure she's placing on the machine as she mentally steels herself for the sudden floodgate of emotion.

Irisviel von Einzbern was... no, she couldn't be here. No, no, no! She couldn't be here in this place for she was elsewhere and her life long--!! No, she must deny it as she denies the air in her lungs, afraid to exhale in case it cleared up the fog of uncertainty.

No, no, no. Her princess was dead. Her princess would never smile or hold her daughter or talk fondly of the only man King Arthur Pendragon could ever hate. Her princess was gone. Her princess couldn't be here at this very moment.

Her smile though. It's enough to stop her heart and for the first time since the beginning of February, Saber feels it beat. The thumping is overwhelming and drowns out the background music she's grown accustomed to hearing.

She can't be here. She can't see the failures of not only one war, but the one that took her child. A war in which she was unable to protect Illyasviel as well. That man's daughter and her cruel fate.

Opening her mouth, Saber chokes on her own words and is left speechless for the moment as the rest of her thoughts accumulate in her mind. With her hair pulled up into a ponytail with a bright red ribbon and what appears to be a dress, she does give the impression of the maiden Kiritsugu summoned more than the king he wanted.

"Irisviel, you will definitely survive. I will protect you until the end. I swear it on the pride of my sword."

A failed promise. The words of a conversation long ago come back to haunt her as she stares over the ghost of a woman on the gear as though it were an illusion.

"Saber, get the Grail. For yourself, and for your Master. Then the Einzberns will reach their 1000 year desire, and me and my daughter will be freed from our destiny. —We rely only on you, Arturia."

The first person to call her by her true name in so long. It's this woman who Saber knows she can rely on. No other. ]

[ Regaining her composure, the same solemn look she's always approached her with, she finally greets the ghost of the past. ]

Irisviel. Is that truly you?

[ That voice...! She knew who did it belong without any doubt. It took her some minutes to figure it out it came from the device she had in her hand, and some others to place the child with her mother once more.

Her heart was beating faster when she knew that her knight was here. ]

[ Then, Irisviel hold the device in her hands to search for her face. She was sure that she heard her so it was only natural that she would seek for her even in this place. It would be wrong to say that she could be scared for this as she was just an homunculus.

Yet... She felt strange in this place. No, there was no time to worry her knight with health. Even here, she promised Kiritsugu that she would not tell her what she was. She couldn't do that to hear even if it was so painful to hide it from Saber.

After all the time they spent together, Irisviel was really able to see what was beyond her knight. She wanted to understand her heart as much as she wanted to be happy with all her family together, Saber included. Because for her, Saber was one of the most important people in Irisviel's life. ]

[ Nerveless, Irisviel smiled at her. ]

Saber. I'm so happy to see you here! [ Her gaze was a kind one, just a princess would give to her most loved knight. ] Yes, it is me...
