Personality:

When you meet Irisviel, the first thing you will notice is that she's the kind person that is ready to listen to you. She is always the one that speaks to Saber and explains her Kiritsugu's intentions and goals and she does this with such kindness that it reaches Saber's heart. This also speaks of the great love and devotion that she feels towards that man who is almost her whole world.

Having lived trapped inside the Castle, she doesn't know many things from the outside world except from what her husband tells her. Since she's the Grail's vessel and an homunculus, there are many things she wishes to understand: the first of them is the human's heart. Even if she's not a real human, Irisviel wanted to live a human life, even choosing to give birth to a child to experience what motherhood is.

There's no doubt of the love and compassion she can show to others, particularly when it comes to children. Despite being in a war, she's really optimistic towards everything, and even when she doesn't fully understands her husband's wish, she still chooses to devote herself to make it real. Irisviel is willing to sacrifice herself if that means protecting the ones she cares about, like she did to protect Ilya from another Holy Grail War, or when she decided to face Kotomine Kirei in the forest to protect Kiritsugu.

While she can be like an innocent child seeing the world for the first time, she can be smart when she needs to be. She's sharp and determined when she was speaking with Kotomine, seeking the best outcome while trying to not leave any openings in her agreement. But when she can be herself, Irisviel often enjoys the small things of the world.

She wants to experience new things, such as walking in the city with her knight, watching the ocean or being in a Japanese house for the first time. Irisviel trusts the people with good heart such as Saber and her husband. And while she might look weak outside, she will show when she's displeased or bothered, however this doesn't mean she won't try her best to understand the other's heart.

She's truly aware of what awaits her in the end, yet she holds no regrets. It pained her to lie to her knight, but Irisviel knew what was the best and what she had to do for the sake of her husband. She's willing to accept Maiya's feelings towards Kiritsugu in the end because she knows that he needs her, despite the fact that she really disliked her at first. As an homunculus, she fills her role but cannot help but dream with a happy ending with all her family together.

First Person Sample: [ A video starts with a woman with long, white hair holding a child's hand. She doesn't seem to notice that this was recording for now, as she's busy holding that girl close to her with a serene voice. ]

Everything is going to be fine, I promise. We will find your mother together, so hold my hand firmly, okay? [ She gives the little kid a sweet smile. ] She must be worried too, so let's give it our best.

I'm Irisviel, but you can call me Iri. [ She had many questions about how she got here, but that kid was first now. There would be plenty of time for the rest. She glances around and notices the device on. The woman gestures to the cute ball next to her, which actually is a Spheal, to come closer as well. ] She's my friend too, she will help us too...

Right, Saber?

[ The feed ends when the little kid giggles a bit. Iri then will come closer to the device and grab it, give it a small smile and hold it again. ]

Third Person Sample:

Irisviel woke up in a strange place she didn't recognize. Surely, she was tired by the outcome of events that were happening in her world, but now... She felt different. There was something wrong with her body and she couldn't feel the magic in her body anymore. Yet, she was smiling a bit.

Despite the change, she was optimistic that she would find some answers. This was a nice adventure for someone like her. Inside, she prayed to have enough time to get back to her knight's and husband's side once more, but she knew that it would take her a long time. There were plenty of books next to her, so she started reading them before anything else. This world was really interesting, especially with all the creatures around here.

When she finished, she left the books and took a moment to think of everything. As much as she wanted to stay, she had to go back to help her husband... The Holy Grail, everything depended on her as well, in more than one way. But she didn't give up. She would find the answers no matter what.

"I will go back as soon as possible." Irisviel said gently, looking at the sky. "I'm sorry... But Maiya is there to help you too, right? I trust she will look after you." Leaving everything to her was all she could do now, but she didn't give up yet.

Next to her, a small Spheal rolled to catch her attention. The woman knelt down to pet it softly. "Thank you. I know you will help me too." She giggled like a child for a moment, as the small creature jumped in her arms. "You will not let me be sad, am I right? That's really nice... You are like my special knight too." The thought made her have nice memories as well.

There was a pause, before Irisviel talked again. "Maybe I should call you Saber then. Do you like it?" She asked while holding the Pokémon in her arms. Said creature replied with a happy sound and the homunculus took it as she liked the name. "We should explore this place then." With that said, she started moving around the city for answers.

"Let's go, Saber."
